Medical Procedures, ongoing physical therapy for injuries: Follow your doctors’ orders. Many elective procedures are being postponed in order to ease the burden on medical facilities as they continue to gear up for an increased number of infected patients. To the extent your doctor tells you that you can or have to wait for a surgical or other procedure, you are better off right now in avoiding having to go to a hospital, clinic or doctor’s office. For those patients/clients receiving ongoing physical therapy, please ask your therapist if you can continue the regimen at home for the time being. Again, above all, follow doctors’ orders.
