Congratulations to Attorney Giordano who taught a successful Video Evidence CLE to approximately 100 New York City Attorneys who specialized in a wide range of practice areas
from criminal defense, personal injury, litigation, and more. The Video Evidence CLE course was three and a half hours in length and covered topics ranging from laying a proper foundation for the use of video to the nuts and bolts of video extraction by Video Extraction, Inc ( videoextract.com ) founder Ret. NYPD Detective Eric D. Grimes. Attorney Giordano delved into case law and the current standards and requirements for the introduction of video surveillance recordings and other forms of video into evidence. Detective Grimes outlined basic video extraction methodology and the pitfalls to be avoided in the extraction of third party video. Attorney Giordano and Detective Grimes have another CLE scheduled to be held in February at the Brooklyn Bar Association.
